Run by Soco Music Project - a Southampton-based music charity building a connected, inclusive and ambitious creative community across the South, Planet Sounds Rehearsal rooms and Recording Studios have a 20 year history of providing space for music with character and attitude!
Whatever your requirements for a rehearsal room or recording studio, we meet them. We have rooms of all shapes and sizes and our larger rooms can accommodate enough people for a large band or showcase event.
Planet Sounds is conveniently located in central Southampton, under the arches of Central bridge. The benefit of this is you can be as loud as you want! (earplugs are provided free!). You certainly won’t get any complaints from us.
In every room we offer all the kit you need. If there is anything else you need that we don’t include as standard, just ask! We’re always happy to help. If you ever have any questions, our friendly staff will always give time to help in any way we can.
We welcome any and all musicians and performers with open arms, whether you’re a 9 piece ska band, a hard techno crew or a rap / r&b artist we can help you make music.
